Add and use a Skill

Add a Skill to Kuse, select it for a task or Workflow, and verify the result with safe inputs.

Add a Skill when you already have a reusable set of task instructions. Review the instructions before uploading or selecting it so you understand what the Skill will ask Kuse to do.

Create or upload a Skill

In Customize → Skills → Add Skill, choose Create with Kuse to describe a reusable method, or Upload skill to add an existing file. Upload accepts .md, .zip, and .skill, up to 10 MB. A Markdown file needs a YAML name and description; a package must contain SKILL.md. If the name already exists, review the replacement warning and keep a copy of the old instructions before confirming.

Upload a Skill in Customize, review its instructions, then select it for a new task.

Use it with the right context

Select the Skill in a supported task or Workflow, then provide the files, Connector, and task-specific details it expects. A Skill cannot supply facts that are missing from the actual source material.

Test before wider use

Use a small, known example and compare the output with the Skill instructions. Fix unclear or unsafe instructions before using the Skill in recurring or customer-facing work.

Call an enabled Skill

Enable the Skill in Customize, then type /skill-name in Chat and choose the matching command, or select it from the Skill menu. Disabled Skills do not appear in slash-command suggestions. Provide the sources and task details after selecting the Skill. Expert Packs can enable a related set of Skills together.
